Empowering with Digital Welding Guns, Smartwell Boosts Smart Manufacturing Upgrade at Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Plant

作为中法合作的重要典范，神龙汽车始终是两国经贸与文化交流的桥梁。其位于成都经开区（龙泉驿区）的成都工厂，不仅是Stellantis集团的全球标杆工厂，更是东风雪铁龙凡尔赛C5 X的全球唯一生产基地。

As a flagship example of Sino-French cooperation, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile (DPCA) has long served as a bridge for economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between the two nations. Its Chengdu plant, located in the Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone (Longquanyi District), is not only a global benchmark facility within Stellantis Group but also the sole global production base for the Dongfeng Citroën Versailles C5 X.

目前，成都工厂正全面推进产线智能化改造，加速向自动化、数字化、柔性化转型升级。明年7月，一款全新的高端新能源车型将在成都工厂量产下线。神龙汽车制造管理部副部长吴德桂介绍：“改造后产线将实现焊点100%自动化，并通过引入焊接人工智能质检系统，显著提升新能源车型的品质与生产效率。”

Currently, the Chengdu plant is comprehensively advancing intelligent production line upgrades, accelerating its transformation toward automation, digitization, and flexibility. In July next year, a new high-end new energy vehicle (NEV) model will be launched into mass production at the plant. Wu Degui, Deputy Director of the Manufacturing Management Department at DPCA, explained, "After the upgrade, the production line will achieve 100% automation of welding points. By introducing an AI-powered welding quality inspection system, we will significantly enhance both the quality and production efficiency of our NEV models."

为迎接新车型投产，实耐固提供了搭载高精度传感器的数字焊钳，可对焊接过程进行毫秒级数据采集与融合分析。结合基于焊接压力机理的AI智能评判模型，系统能同步实现焊点质量在线全检，精准识别飞溅、虚焊等缺陷，为高品质制造筑牢根基。

In preparation for the new model launch, SNG has provided digital welding guns equipped with high-precision sensors. These guns enable millisecond-level data acquisition and integrated analysis of the welding process. Coupled with an AI evaluation model based on welding pressure mechanisms, the system can conduct real-time, full inspection of welding point quality, accurately identifying defects such as spatter and cold welds, thereby solidifying the foundation for high-quality manufacturing.

神龙汽车有限公司成都工厂厂长戴天华表示：“以新能源产品导入为契机，成都工厂将实现数字化、智能化的又一次跨越。作为东风集团西部桥头堡，我们将秉承“在中国、为全球”战略，发挥33年制造积淀，让更多‘成都造’走向世界。”

Dai Tianhua, Plant Manager of DPCA’s Chengdu facility, stated, "The introduction of NEV products presents an opportunity for the Chengdu plant to achieve another leap in digitization and intelligence. As the western strategic hub for Dongfeng Group, we will adhere to the 'In China, For the Global' strategy, leveraging 33 years of manufacturing expertise to bring more 'Made in Chengdu' products to the world."
